Sizing information is general guidance
All conversions, charts, and measuring guides on SizeDecoder are general reference information compiled from standard published sizing conventions. They are not a guarantee that any specific garment or shoe from any specific brand will fit you. Brands vary, cuts vary, and materials vary. Always check the garment's own size chart where one is provided, and use our measuring guides to double-check your own numbers before you buy.
No liability for purchase decisions
SizeDecoder is not responsible for purchases made using a size you selected based on information on this site. We do our best to keep every table accurate and clearly sourced (see the methodology page), but the final fit decision and any return costs are between you and the retailer.
Use of the tools
The site's client-side tools (converters, size finders) are provided free to use. Where a tool stores data, it is stored only in your own browser, as described in the privacy policy.
Paid products
Any paid digital product on this site is sold as-is for personal use, fulfilled electronically after payment. Digital products are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law.
Acceptable use
Use this site for personal, non-commercial reference. Automated scraping of the full conversion table corpus for republication elsewhere, or attempts to overload the site's tools or infrastructure, aren't permitted. Reasonable personal use of the client-side tools, including saving your own measurements with My Size Card, is exactly what they're built for.
Content ownership
The written explanations, measuring guides, and site design are ours. The underlying sizing conventions themselves aren't proprietary to us — they're the standard, publicly documented conventions described on the methodology page — but the specific tables, wording, and presentation on this site are not to be copied wholesale onto another site.
Links to other sites
Where this site links out to a retailer's own size chart or a third-party resource, that link is provided for convenience. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites, and a link here isn't an endorsement of everything on the destination page.
No warranty
The site and its tools are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that a specific conversion, chart, or tool result will be error-free or fit for a particular purchase. We correct genuine errors when they're reported, but we don't guarantee the site will be available without interruption or that every table is free of the occasional mistake.
Age and eligibility
This site's free conversion tools and reference content are available to anyone; any paid digital product is intended for purchase by someone old enough to enter into a binding purchase agreement in their own jurisdiction, and a parent or guardian should complete any purchase intended for a child's benefit.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, the remaining terms continue to apply in full — an unenforceable clause doesn't invalidate the rest of the agreement.
Entire agreement
These terms, together with the privacy policy, make up the whole agreement between you and SizeDecoder regarding use of the site, and replace any earlier understanding about how the site or its tools may be used.
Governing approach
These terms are written to be read plainly rather than as boilerplate copied from another kind of business — if a specific clause above ever seems ambiguous for your situation, the contact page is the right place to ask before assuming the strictest possible reading applies.

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the last revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
