My Size Card
Enter your measurements once and get your size in every system — saved to your device only, nothing uploaded.
Your measurements are saved only on this device (browser local storage) — nothing is uploaded to a server.
One set of measurements, every system at once
Instead of re-measuring or re-converting every time you shop a new brand or a new country's sizing, this tool lets you enter your own body measurements once and see them translated across US, UK, EU, and other systems for the garment categories that matter to you — a personal reference card rather than a one-off calculator you have to redo for each purchase.
Everything you enter stays on your device — this is the point, not a footnote
Your measurements are saved using your browser's local storage, a feature built into every modern browser that keeps data on your own device rather than sending it to a server. Nothing you type into this tool is uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere except your own browser. That means your measurements persist if you close the tab and come back later on the same device and browser, but they also mean the data doesn't follow you to a different device or browser automatically — it lives locally, by design, not as a limitation.
This matters more for body measurements than it does for most information people put into web forms, and it's a deliberate architectural choice: a size-conversion tool has no legitimate reason to collect and store personal body data on a server, so this one doesn't.
What happens if you clear your browser data
Because the measurements live in local storage rather than a server-side account, clearing your browser's site data, using a private/incognito window, or switching browsers or devices will not carry your saved figures forward — there's no password-recoverable account behind this feature to restore from, since there's no server-side record to restore. If you rely on this tool regularly, treat it as a convenience for a given device rather than a backed-up personal profile.
Built from the same conversion data as the rest of the site
The size translations this tool produces come from the identical canonical size tables used across every dedicated conversion and chart page here — entering your measurements once and seeing them mapped to US, UK, EU, and other systems draws on the same methodology-reviewed data, not a separate simplified dataset.
What this tool doesn't replace
A size card built from your own measurements is more useful than converting a remembered size number, but it's still a translation of standard sizing conventions, not a guarantee any specific brand will fit that way — brand cut, fabric stretch, and vanity-sizing drift still apply on top of an accurately measured size card, so checking a specific brand's own chart remains worthwhile for anything you're ordering sight unseen. Re-measuring yourself every year or so, and after any noticeable change in your weight or fitness routine, keeps the card accurate rather than letting it quietly go stale the way an old remembered size number does.
Frequently asked questions
Are my measurements uploaded to a server?
No — everything is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device only. Nothing you enter is transmitted or stored anywhere else.
Will my size card be there if I switch devices or browsers?
No — local storage is tied to the specific browser and device you used, so switching to a different device or browser (or clearing site data) won't carry your saved measurements forward, since there's no server-side account behind this feature.
Why not just make an account so my data follows me everywhere?
A size-conversion tool has no legitimate need to collect and store personal body measurements on a server, so this one deliberately doesn't — keeping everything local is the safer default for this kind of data.
I share a computer with family members — will our size cards get mixed up?
If you're using the same browser profile, yes, they'll share the same local storage and can overwrite each other — separate browser profiles, or a private/incognito window for a one-off entry, keeps each person's figures independent on a shared device.
Is there a risk of losing my saved measurements if my browser updates or I clear my cache?
A routine browser update won't touch local storage, but a deliberate "clear browsing data" action that includes site data will wipe it — if you rely on this card regularly, jotting the numbers down somewhere else as a backup costs little and protects against that specific scenario.
Want it on paper too?
The Size Card & Measuring Kit is a printable version of this same idea — a fold-and-keep card plus a step-by-step measuring guide for every measurement this site's charts use.
